A local move consists of transporting your goods from one location to another within 100 miles radius. If a

move requires more than 100 miles, it is considered a long distance move and is charged for by the pound or

the piece. For a move over 100 miles click here.. Charges are calculated “by the hour” and normally carry

a minimum number of hours depending on the size of the job. Our hourly rate includes the men and

necessary equipment to safely and securely move your goods. Additional charges such as stairs or long

carries don’t apply to “local moves” but realize, these conditions usually add additional time to your move.

Taking the necessary steps to properly prepare your items prior to our arrival adds to the quality and

efficency and final cost of your move. Click on the “packing tips” link for more information. Beal’s

Moving will wrap all of your items securely in clean, protective pads to prevent scratches and other incidental

damage before moving as part of our standard moving service at no extra cost.. Should you decide on a full

service move that includes packing we are prepared to serve you according to your individual needs.
